A Whole New World With JT Foxx

What Makes JT Foxx so special?

To contextualise and set the scene correctly, let me first tell you that I am one of those people – the ones that decide to quit their comfortable, fairly well paid 9-5 corporate life in people and project management to follow their passion. And I did this recently, so I am now a brand new Co. Founder and owner of my own business which is only officially 3 months old.

With this comes a whole different outlook on life and a completely new ballgame. Suddenly, work is pleasurable, enjoyable – but hard! You become flooded with the algorithms of Facebook offering you landing page ads for the next “game changing” technique that took some guy just like me, into a 6 figure salary in 60 days… You bite on a few of them and sure, you get titbits of information, but nothing immensely sustainable without the up-sell that follows, but none of it felt right…. It did however give me an idea of the sort of direction where I want to be heading at least.

Then suddenly, a bright pink, cleverly marketed ad pitched at female speakers pops up and it grabs my attention more than any other ad…. It was JT Foxx’s Mega Speaker ad for his Manchester event. I delve a little further into his page, watch his mega speaker vid and listen to his quirky smooth Canadian voice, telling me the world doesn’t have enough female speakers and notice a certain charm to the pitching of it that made me want to learn more – after all, I am a coach myself in the fitness industry, I need to brush up on my speaking. So I decide to sign up – aware there will be a full day of up-sell, but stepping out of my comfort zone nonetheless to go and do something I wouldn’t normally do. Let me just say at this point, JT Foxx made an impression where no one else managed to.

From the moment I signed up to the event, his funnel and confirmation process was perfect. Not too many emails, and a confirmation call to seal my attendance – it felt professional. Arriving on the day felt like my head was in the game and I was ready to go with an open mind.

The entire day was perfectly balanced with golden nuggets of free information and of course the up-sell into more of his coaching programs, but with no hard sell to make you feel pressed to buy.

I sat front row, listening in awe at his words, each one striking chords in me and awakening something that was lay dormant to make me want to succeed. However, as I am still incredibly new to my business, I am still apprehensive – not of JT, but of my own ability… If I can even build myself to a tenth of what he is, I will be happy. The big thing is, is now I believe I can, and he has triggered that for me. I learned so much, not just from him, but also from his team about branding, positioning, marketing – clever little pieces of information that were so simple, yet powerful.

What really stood out for me was his aura, the way he held himself, spoke, moved, talked – his crisp blue suit, expensive watch and perfectly white teeth, gave the impression of someone I WANT to work with. I understood his humour, his political incorrectness, his ‘tell it as it is’ bluntness, this all added to his charm and I understood his branding strategy more so because of this. Not only did his presence impress me, but also his meticulous attention to detail blew me away… Having been to the hotel before on corporate conferences I know there is always pen and paper there, so I thought nothing of using them – half way through the day, he mentioned that the people who had notebooks came prepared and the ones using the pens at the hotel gave a different impression – BURN! Ok, JT – when I see you in London in September, this won’t happen again! :) But, this aside, he has awakened the left brain in me to analyse things such as this in more detail. He even remembered the order in which I got up out of the audience when I went to pick up my pink tie and signed it for me as being the next female JT Foxx, which was a nice compliment.

What really made me warm to him further, was that the event was days after the Manchester concert attack yet he still came, and commended us fellow Mancunians for still coming when the atmosphere was still so raw. On the day we raised £5k to go towards the Manchester Fund to support the families of those affected, plus he doubled it, so £10k in total. This reached me on every level of humanity possible and showed me he has a kind side, as well as being extremely clever and focused – I look for that in people regardless of wealth, brand or standing.

Meeting him to talk to in person after the speaking was great. He prides himself on having 3 different JT Foxx personalities – the businessman, the speaker and the personal side. I really saw the difference in his characters and that is exactly what I want from a coach, that is exactly what I need in a coach, someone who is straight up business focused, no messing, tells you how it is and what exactly you need to do to succeed, but at the same time is also human… JT Foxx is just that.

I have never met anyone with a brain like his, it is exquisite. He really is someone to spend time following and learning from and I know this because every day, I am adopting a little bit of JT in my business.

I am working through 2 of his coaching programs, Speak your Way to Millions and 90 Day Wealth Magnet and I never get tired of listening to him talk. Every day I find myself using something empowering that he has said, or referring back to his ruthless business side to get me through something tough that comes up in my business. I am now even passing that knowledge onto my business partner to further strengthen our partnership.

What means more to me than anything, is that JT made me realise I needed coaches in my life to succeed and since meeting him, I now consider JT to be my business coach and friend – I intend to work more with him over the years, he sparks too much inside me not to. The realisation that I cannot do everything on my own after meeting JT hit me hard, like meltdown hard! Not many people can trigger me on a level to realise I need to do something different, because I’m usually always right! (Aren’t all women?) Since then I have also re-enlisted and invested in my original coach and mentor, who sparked my passion back in the day as my Personal Trainer to change my life in the first place. I feel more focused, driven and determined and I am learning and evolving every day.

JT taught me that having many coaches does not make you weak – he has many, it makes you strong and smart. I thank him for that because I have now positioned myself to have great coaches in my life and this will filter through to allow me to be even greater when it comes to coaching my clients and growing Ascension PT.
